Yenn Dar Pte Ltd (YDPL) started from a sole proprietorship, Yenn Dar Construction (YDC), in 1986 and was converted to a Private Limited Company in year 1996.
Business activities during the time of YDC were in commercial building services (piping, air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation systems), process pipings for chemical plants and steel structural works. It’s first major involvement in Cleanroom project was TECH Semiconductor. Subsequent to this, YDC was also involved in two major wafer fab projects namely Chartered Semiconductor Mfg Fab 2 (Singapore), and Shanghai Belling Microelectronics (Shanghai-China). The company too provided engineering and drafting support to main contractors.
After YDC was converted to YDPL, the company’s products was expanded to cater different industries, e.g. Wafer Fabs, Chemical and Agricultural, Hotels and Commercial buildings.
In addition, YDPL provides Fab space management and drafting services, engineering support and contracting works in Ferrous and non-ferrous pipings, Thermoplastics pipings, Steel structure beams and supports, and as well as Electrical & Control Design, Engineering and Installation.
Our major product was in Design, Fabrication and Installation of Equipment Foundation for vibration-sensitive equipment used in Wafer Fabs since year 1995.
We have also installed HEPA filters and fan units in several wafer fabs as well as ceiling grids and dry coil air-conditioning works. We have a division in our company that handles Equipment Facilities Hookup and Pipe Insulation.
YDPL is engaged by building owners (e.g. Singapore Press Holdings, Housing and Development Board, & etc, for termcontract/preventive maintenance in M & E services.
Sometime 3rd quarter of year 2008, we were awarded a project on underground services, i.e. plumbing and sanitary works.
The project is still on-going at REC Singapore. This project is financially manages by YDPL and work together with our new subsidiary, Yenn Dar Plumbing & Sanitary Pte Ltd (YDP&S).
YDP&S is 75% owned by YDPL and 25% owned by Mr. Mike Pek who is a licensed plumber and have many experiences and contacts in this field.
